What is the Talisman made of?
- The talisman is made of Bronze, a metal that is made of copper (90%) and tin (10%), making it both strong, corrosion resistant, and beautiful to look at.
What are the dimensions of the Talisman?
- The talisman is 15 cm in diameter, and 2mm thick. It weights about 390 grams
When will you be shipping?
- We’ll be shipping by the end of November, 2 weeks after the shop closes. We’ll be creating the Talismans in bulk at our metallurgy of choice in the Netherlands.
Why won’t you be shipping directly?
- Crafting beautiful metal items costs a lot of material (cutting and engraving metal damages bits!), making it cheaper to produce the Talisman in bulk. We want to avoid dealing with stock of any kind, hence why this sale of a “group purchase” type.
Is the Talisman handmade, or done by machine?
- The Talisman is produced and processed by real human beings which take joy and pride in metallurgical processing. The cutting of huge bronze plates, hot pressing them, then configuring a special engraving machine to do its work over a period of 48 hours is a serious and precious craft that both involves practical and technical skills. However, the talisman is hand painted with a tough black lacquer which makes the beautiful details and sigils of the Talisman come to live.
How can the Talisman be used?
The primary use of a Talisman is to imbue it with positive and protective intention, or dare we say - Energy - such that it may bring beneficial aspects to its wearer. In the case of the Seven Sacred Seals, the talisman may be used as a main ornament in meditative or temple spaces, focusing attention on the core teaching while one is invoking the seven sacred rays, the angelic presences. The repeated invocation and repeating of a ritual around an item of focus deeply roots the energy to that particular object. Secondary uses of the talisman are of decorative purposes. You may put it lying flat on an altar or tea table. You may also hang it up on two nails against any wall, or perhaps put it upright on our supplementary wooden Talisman stand!
Are the Seven Sacred Seals based on the Arbatel or Olympic spirits?
- The Seven Sacred Seals are a transmission of the Sacred Feminine, deeply interwoven in the core Gene Keys Teachings of the Sacred Wound. These are not the Arbatel or the Olympic spirits, even though Sloans and Agrippa’s angelic sigils are used for the angelic correspondences. One may tell that the Seven Sacred Seals teaching is different by its Sacred Ray-based invocation, and astrotheurgical aspect (the invocation of star qualities).
Is the Talisman Gene Key or BLVCK Studios branded?
- No, the Talisman is not branded with the Gene Key Logo, or BLVCK STUDIOS logo. The back is plain and unprocessed, while the front is beautifully polished, engraved, and hand painted to bring out the deep and beautiful details of love.
